Then we have to pay a mechanic just for them to connect the car to a computer and tell us what the problem is. With this handy little device, you can know what the issue is BEFORE you go see a mechanic. You can even reset the check engine light. You can have multiple cars in the app. And it will tell you when your car is due for a service, oil change, tire rotation, and windshield wipers. These are all things that don't readily pop to the front of my mind since I'm not a car person. I absolutely love this gadget!

As a person who knows very little indeed about cars, this was amazing. I downloaded the app, plugged it in, and got a reading that told me it was either my battery or my alternator. Knowing I had replaced my alternator only a couple years ago, I was able to determine it was a simple fix and voila, got a battery and my car was up and running again in a jiffy. I have been told before that things were wrong with my car, expensive repairs that I really was not comfortable the mechanic was being truthful with me and may be charging me for unnecessary repairs. We have an old Kia Sedona which my wife drives and one day the vehicle started jerking. Six months ago, we paid about 1400 when the dreaded engine light came up. This time I got an estimate of another $1400. So, I decided to buy FIXD, not to repair the car myself since I am not mechanically inclined, but to gain a little knowledge about the condition of the vehícle and at least to know if the mechanic was being fair.
